The Mysterious oil of Frankincense –

Wild Frankincense (Somalia) Boswellia Carterii, is an incredible immune system builder. Used for many thousands of years, the Frankincense tree has perhaps the greatest association with spiritual practice of any plant on earth. In most of the great ancient cultures, including the Egyptian, Babylonian, Persian, Hebrew, Greek and Roman civilizations, it has played a role in religious and domestic life. Frankincense has been sought after by kings and valued as highly as gold. More recently, the essential oil is gaining popularity with spiritual seekers and natural healers alike. What is so special about this tree that its ‘pearls’ were given as a gift at the birth of one of history’s most revered prophets, Jesus of Nazareth. Direct application to the temples and forehead will quiet the mind, deepen the breath, and promote meditative stillness.

True oil of Myrrh, Mind & Spirit –

Deepens spiritual connection. Useful for those who feel “stuck” emotionally. Oil of Myrrh has a history as long as mankind itself, intriguing man since his beginnings. The warmth of its fragrance is like a breath from the past, carrying within it history itself. It was an important ingredient in the sacred Holy Oil of the Old Testament, the beauty secret of biblical Queens and the scent of Solomon’s Beloved in the poetic Song of Solomon. Myrrh is a gift of nature with amazing qualities of preservation, purification and healing. It has a structure so complex that it cannot be adequately made synthetically. Myrrh is still used medicinally for healing wounds. It has powerful anti-inflammatory, anti-fungal and immune boosting qualities.

Healing Oil of Lavender –

Organic (Bulgaria) Lavandula Angustifolia, also known as Lavender Fine, is said to have a finer scent and is commonly grown in higher altitudes so that the essential oil has more esters which provide calming and balance for the entire nervous system. Taking its name from the Latin lavare, meaning “to wash,” lavender possesses a clean, pure aroma. Lavender is a calming, relaxing oil, which combats stress and crisis, while the antiseptic properties help with colds, flu and other ailments. It is excellent for asthma and migraines. In addition, lavender supports female health and it has a healing effect on the skin, while preventing scarring and balancing the skin. It has been used for nerves, migraines, headaches, tension, emotional stress, sore or tense muscles. Other uses include benefits for the skin, immune and circulatory systems.

Peaceful oil of Geranium, Rose –

Bourbon (Madagascar) Pelargonium Roseum. The benefits of the two geraniums are similar, with the rose geranium having a rosy smell, and may assist with hot flashes. While using this wonderful essential oil you will notice that it is soothing, sedative, and healing to the skin. It relieves depression, anxiety and despondency and is spiritually uplifting. The oil stimulates the adrenaline and stabilizes the hormones.

Relaxing oil of Bergamot –

Bergamot, Organically Grown (Ivory Coast) Citrus Aurantium var Bergamia. Christopher Columbus took the bergamot tree from his home in the Canary Islands, and transported it to Italy. Because of this, bergamot has been cultivated in Italy ever since. Bergamot oil is made from the inedible, bitter green, pear shaped citrus fruit of the bergamot tree. The peel of the fruit is cold pressed, which releases the pale emerald green oil. The oil has a light, delicate, citrusy and floral scent and has many uses. The therapeutic properties of bergamot pure essential oil are euphoric, antiseptic, cooling, and a tonic to the digestive system. Bergamot is known to cheer up the mood by alleviating stress. It serves as a great antidepressant while combating sorrows and melancholy. It is antifungal and antibacterial in nature. Bergamot essential oil is said to possess anti-inflammatory properties. Bergamot essential oil massage is for tired and aching muscles, as it aleviates pain and relieves tension and stress. Its light, sweet smell refreshes the mind and enhances the mood. It aids in augmenting the blood circulation and is also the best remedy for combating lethargy and physical fatigue.

Sweet oil of Cedarwood –

Cedarwood is traditionally considered a male fragrance and is often used in cosmetic products for men. Its sweet, woody aroma is often incorporated into blends as a base note, giving strength and stability to the aroma. It appears to offer these same properties on a mental and emotional level as well. It has a stimulating effect on the respiratory system and is especially useful when an infection is present. Cedarwood increases strength and endurance during difficult times and encourages the ability to hold steady and persevere. It supports confidence in challenging situations and is grounding.
