Ever heard of good news?

Well, hardly.  At least the evening news channels put the good news last, so the public isn’t left in despair.

I don’t watch the news.  I do read at Yahoo as I go in to check some of my emails.  I find that I tend to sweep the “bad/sad” news away from myself and run for the good stuff right away.  That’s a trick I’ve taught my kids to do in regard to movies before bedtime too.  Don’t go to sleep with a scary movie on your mind, fill yourself with pleasant thoughts before going to sleep.  Is that a method of sticking my head in the sand?  Yep, ostrich me says I can’t handle the heavies of what others do.

So!  Here’s a website, one of a few you can find by doing a Google search… It’s called Good News Daily.

Here’s one of their World news headlines…

Polish beekeeper Josef Guzy found still alive in coffin -

that would be his own.  Just a little fast with the casket their guys.

And another item from Tech and Science…

“Tantalizing hints of dark matter — the mysterious substance thought to make up a quarter of the Universe — have been picked up for the first time, in an American laboratory buried half a mile underground.”

Now, what could we do with that stuff?  Just think!

I like this next site…Gimundo.  Good news, served daily.

It seems “The Phantom bread maker of Old Fowey Town” is striking regularly and making a lot of tummies very happy by leaving bread on doorsteps.  Teehee.  Wouldn’t it be nice.

Nothing could sound stranger to me than this next headline.

Jane McGonigal: Creating Video Games to Build a Better World

You see what you can find in the way of good news that might tickle your fancy!
